Lubricating throttle cable
The accelerator pedal feels overly stiff on my 300CE. Is there a way to lubricate the cable and assembly?

The cable, no, but that likely isn't the problem. You should remove the airbox and spray all of the pivot points and linkages with penetrating oil before evaluating the cable.

It will eventually get to where the throttle will stay as far down as you press it without the cruise control being on during the first few miles until things heat up under there .
