I guess I can check the engine ground.
is it possible that its something more along the lines of a fuel injector, or even spark problem? |

also, is that K40 in the back left of the engine compartment? any way to check its condition before ordering a replacement?

Keep us posted. If it doesn't work, I recommend a compression check next to help isolate what's going on with cyls 2 and 3.

it was fuel injectors.
pulled the car out of storage, running like a dump, swapped in my used but rebuilt EV6 greenies and she fired right up, purrs like a large growly cat. all fixed. fuel injectors took a dump at 105k miles for those reading this thread in the future with a similar set of problems!
