I guess I can check the engine ground.

is it possible that its something more along the lines of a fuel injector, or even spark problem?

well, a little update here. got the rebuild kits.

pulled the old filter baskets out of the injectors

popped in the new ones with some effort

then replaced all the o rings, and pintle caps

voila, a nice and clean set of AMG EV6 greenies! cant wait to try em out.

Keep us posted. If it doesn't work, I recommend a compression check next to help isolate what's going on with cyls 2 and 3.

it was fuel injectors.

pulled the car out of storage, running like a dump, swapped in my used but rebuilt EV6 greenies and she fired right up, purrs like a large growly cat.

all fixed.
fuel injectors took a dump at 105k miles for those reading this thread in the future with a similar set of problems!
