The starter circuit uses violet wires..

What is the guage (cross-section) of the wire?

What doesn't work?

The engine won't start. It seems that i am not getting any fire. I was told that this wire should be connected to the starter on the opposite side of the solenoid of the ignition wire, however there is not another connection on the starter for this wire

"The engine won't start".

Do you mean the starter doesn't operate OR that the starter does operate & the engine doesn't start?
