Exclamation 560SEL Motor Mount replacement

I think its time to replace the mounts on my 91 560SEL. Has anyone dealt with Anchor parts as seen on Rock Auto. Rock auto also sells Uro brand parts but heard nothing but crappy ratings with Uro parts. I most likely will end up just getting Original MB parts but would like to know of any good aftermarket part brands out there. I am a fan of OEM parts but I sometimes like to give the little guys some business too

I would NOT use Uro parts. Use genuine MB parts. You don't want to be doing this again in 6 months due to failure. There are some parts you can skimp on. This is not one of them IMO.

Only use OEM parts. I've heard of quality problem with URO parts. They aren't the same thing.

back in 75 when i first got in the auto parts game, we sold anchor motor mounts. good stuff, then. nowdays, check the box and make sure it's made in the u.s. or germany or ANYPLACE besides china or india. i'd bet it's a rebox fom the same place that supplies uro parts. me, i'd look for lemforder or corteco. like, maybe what they sell here? good luck, chuck.

Looks like there are plenty of choices in a wide price range. I try to compare prices with the different makes. Corteco is a good name. Some Meyle are OK. And Lemforder is always pretty high quality. Shop around and if you feel obliged, buy from FastLane.

FWIW, peachparts.com ships from Mercedes dealers around the country.

Lemfoerder or Dealer. We had some India made "Meyle" mounts collapse after about 4 months on one of our SD's.....

My 420 needs mounts and I see that Lemfoerder are about $25 each online, but I'm checking dealer price first.

thanks for the info. I went onto XXXX for pricing. They seem way to much money for $200. Other sites I see mounts from $8.00 to less that $30. I have yet to ask my relative who works in MB parts for pricing. How many motor mounts does this vehicle have?
I believe there are 2. One for the left and one for the right side
