Is it possible to upgrade the auto transmission in an M103 W124 to one with 6 speeds from a later Benz?

Also talk to forum member whipplem104. He is very knowledgeable about about connecting a 722.6 to an M104 if I am not mistaken. He make be able to help you mate one to an M103.
