1993 W201 Turn Signal and Blower fan out.

So I was driving home last night when my turn signals went out. The Hazard lights still worked, but I replaced the flasher relay anyway with a relay I had that I knew worked. This morning I went out to start the car and realized that now the turn signal flashers and the blower fan for the climate control also didn't work.

Things I've checked:
Connections in the back of the fuse block: They're all in there and I think they're fairly clean
Flasher is good
Hazard light switch is good, swapped it too

On the stalk: all the high/low beams and the windshield controls all still work.

The blower fan is probably an isolated incident, but I'm not sure.
The blower fan was replaced with a new OEM Bosch unit in August '11

I'm getting power to the fuse block on the strut tower for the blower fan as well. I checked the main power bus on the opposite side next to the battery and everything is tight including the small phillips field line next to the two large power buses.

Any suggestions? Thanks.

I would check all fuses, they may look good but they may not be. If you still have the old fuses in there I would replace all of them with new. I would also check the ovp behind the battery.

Fuse #6 (turn signals among a few other things) kept blowing when the climate control system was on, but not when off. A Mercedes tech substituted another ccu for testing and everything worked fine. I ordered a remanufactured ccu and hope that will cure the electrical issues even on a different circuit. Strange!
