I'll answer my own post....The problem is the SBC pump is now cycling quite often, I took it back to the shop where the brakes were done ( a good shop that has done brakes and AC work on my 85 280SL Euro) and they said they couldn't correct the pump problem, it would have to be done with the Mercedes Star computer so it goes into the MB shop Monday. Yes, I think I saved considerable money by having the brakes done at an independent shop but will have to wait until Monday to see what the cost will be for the SBC service at Mercedes to determine the overall cost. Right now I'm thinking if I had it to over again I would let Mercedes do the whole thing. Any comments?....Thanks, Desert
