no fuel from inj pump on 190d

I recently purchase a 84 190d that has been sitting for 5 years.
In trying to get it started i have gat fuel through the fuel filter to the pump but cant get any fuel to the injectors. am I doing somthing wrong or is the pump bad? I do not have any vaccum at this time but I presummed it would pump fuel without vaccum.Am I wrong. Any input would be appreciated.
hillbilly.
