Exclamation W126 560sel ABS light

I replaced front pads (OEM MB), resurfaced rotors then cleaned out old bearing grease and repack bearings. ABS light comes on after 15mph. Anything below that light stays off but get false ABS activation when applying brakes. I removed the speed sensors in the front for inspection since I did not want to remove the brakes and repack the bearings again and found a lot of metal debris on the sensors. I cleaned off the sensors and checked the tone rings.mi sprayed brake kleen on them and used shop air to dry it out and get rid of any remaining debris. Well this did not work. I still have the ABS light coming on. The tone ring is not damaged. I believe the sensors are still ok despite being 20 yrs old. ABS was working as designed until I did the brake job. could there stil be debris or dirt caught up somewhere I cannot see? All inputs appreciated
