124 Rear control arm replacement question

I am considering changing all four rear control arms, on each side, of my 1987 260E W124. The price is $235 for the full set, but should I change these before or after I change the submount bushings? The car still wants to steer under heavy load after I changed the lower control arm bushings. I do not want to have to have the car aligned twice.

Thanks,
Bob

Jack up the car, and look closely at the subframe bushings. If they pull away from the car, switch them out.

Do yourself a big favor and buy MB parts. Even the "good" aftermarket parts do not fit proper. Its not that much more at the dealer, or if you call phil, he can shop the best price.

Changing the subframe bushings is kind of a big job.

These would be Meyle parts, which I have had good luck with in the past.
