Brake bolt question for techs/brake gurus
Just replaced front rotors on sliding calipers (W124). Do the "self-securing" caliper bolts need to be replaced or locktited? I coated with anti-seize and torqued to spec (81 ft-lbs). Am I OK?
Also, one rear piston was a little difficult to force back into the bore but I was able to get it in with extra effort? Do I need rebuild/replacement or will it be alright? I did replace fluid. All assistance appreciated.
