Second-to-First downshift "thump" fixed...
There have been a few posts about a noticeable bump occurring just in the last few feet of deceleration as the car shifts down.
My '97 S320 had this but in the course of a routine service they have replaced the flex-disc coupling at the front end of the driveshaft and the problem has gone away. It was relatively cheap....
