Hi,
I replaced the fuel line from pump to pump on my 1990 560 SEC. As it was
running I crawled underneath to check for leaks. The new line was not leaking; however, there was a leak at the metal fitting on the other pump
connection. When I tried to tighten it, I accidently grounded the wrench on the positive terminal (rubber cap wore off) and it produced a spark.
The engine quit immediately and now it won't start. I replaced the fuel pump relay with another, but there is no power to the pumps. Is there a fusible link or another relay that I've missed. Something should have protected the short. Any help or experience is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Old Max
