ignition rotor removal
I searched the archives and can't find an answer to this.
What size hex key, allen wrench is needed to remove the ignition rotor for a 93 190e 2.6. I just got the car and want to do a good tune up. Thanx! Dan |

I can't specifically answer your question at the moment, but I just changed mine on the '90 300E 2.6 the other night. The wrench was in the standard set. Get a good quality set. Mine are Bondhus balldrivers (see picture). The rotor bolts are tight! You probably only get one chance to get them loose without stripping them. These are about $12.

Tight?? Thats an understatement. Twisted my el cheapo allen wrench like it was plastic. Will go get me a good set tonight.
Thanx! Dan |
