Transmission cooler oil line leak
I have a leaky transmisson line, on the right side, it looks like it at the connection between the flex hose and the rigid steel line that goes back to the transmission. I replaced the flex hose but it's still leaking. I was wondering if there's any joint sealer I could use, like teflon tape, or is it the steel line that goes to the transmission that needs to be replaced?
It's for a 1998 C230.

You can try pipe joint tape, but most likely the fitting is the issue.

I'll try the teflon tape, but if doesn't work would that mean replacing the line? Could anything be done to the fitting to stop it from leaking?
