Power Sunroof
I have a 1987 190e 16v and the sunroof does not open. I thought that I saw somewhere where the sunroof could be openned manually. Where and how do you do this. I want to repair it, but I don't know how to even start. the motor works, I can hear it.
Thank you for any help |

I think this is in the owner's manual.
Usually, there is a provision to fit a small crank in the sunroof linkage. The crank should be with the car, probably in the tool kit. On larger MB's, the location to place the crank is in the trunk. This setup works assuming a dead sunroof motor is the culprit. If the linkage is shot, so may be your chances. |
