pressure cable (kickdown cable)

If I change the control pressure cable (kickdown switch) on E320 1994 is there anything I need to do or is it just remove and replace. Is the cable continue in the valve body or is cable end in the plastic housing. Another question is what function do the two vacuum hoses have.

I believe you do have to pull the pan to disconnect the cable inside the trans, wish I was more certain but has been awhile.
On the cable side, I think it is just one vac line? This would be for the upshift delay solenoid.
The one on the drivers side is for the vacuum modulator. make sense?

Yes I have one from the vacuum modulator to manifold but I also have two from pressure cable first one goes to a electric solenoid must be like you say upshift delay solenoid. The other one goes to the firewall and are connected to the yellow plastic thing that I don't now the name on. I just find it in the ATSG manual how to disconnect the cable I just lift up slightly the plastic housing and disconnect the wire if I got it right it's not always easy to understand the manual.

Sorry but I have pulled down the transmission from the car. My goal is to try overhaul the transmission. I will change the seals and friction disk I have no reverse that's why I do the overhaul.
