Did a brake job, now ASR+ABS light 96 C280

Hey gang,

Rotars and pads where rusty mess so I changed out rotrs, pads, front hoses and ran new synthetic brake fluid through.
Now the ASR light stays on and after moving the ABS light comes on, but does not go into limp home mode.
I've searched the threads and found nothing like this issue.

The new brakes are smooth with good peddle feel and good stopping power.
what is up with the lights? Is it a reset issue? What should I check? and am I safe?

Thanks,
Andy B.

Problem solved

The ABS sensor "ring" on the rear axel was broken. $10 part from Germany and no more intermittent ABS or ASR light, and the cruise control works again.
