m103 hard start gurgling from fuel tank

I am having an issue with a sloshing/gurgling noise coming from the fuel tank when starting-and it is intermittent. I've taken it to the dealer and they couldn't find anything wrong with it-the fuel pressure is okay too. It will do it hot or cold but never after it has been run-it needs to set about 10 minutes or so. Recordings are below (made in the trunk):

Engine hot, key turned to position II then off, then to position II then start

Engine cold, key turned to position II then start

To me it sounds like air. I've tried running it without the gas cap with no change in behavior. Fuel accumulator, check valve were replaced in 2002 and the fuel pressure regulator hasn't been replaced but holds vacuum. Car runs great and idles fine otherwise.

Any ideas... ?

This happened to me a few weekes ago. I don't know what happened, but it resolved itself the same day after I filled up at a Chevron #91 octane with Techron

If only the fix were that simple for me, I tried adding techron a week ago and it was still acting up. Today I changed the fuel tank vent valve and took a mity vac and checked to make sure that the vent lines were clear. The old vent valve did not hold pressure on the side of the tank so I thought for sure that this would be the culprit-it wasn't. The problem has diminished somewhat, it used to be all the time but now it seems to be only when the engine is hot.
