1997 wind noise

1997 E320, hearing noise from dashboard grille as if wind is blowing through the grille. Similar to the one caused by missaligned windshield wipers.

There is a service info on this exact problem! Modification of the air grill at the windshield is the remedy. Can fax bulletin to you if needed.

... and to think that this small technical glitch was not corrected before the release of this model from the sales platform. It does not do well for consumer confidence that is expected from a trusted brand.

typical MBNA arrogance. There is nothing wrong with any Mercedes, what bulletin?

I have the same car but it is in storage now. I have not noticed the noise but will pay special attention when spring comes.
