Using my turn signals or brights turns my radio off and on again?
Title says it all, guys. When I use the turn signals on my 81 380sl, or turn my brights on or off, my Blaupunkt Houston will turn off and come right back on again -- not always, but enough to bother me.
It's not the fuse. So, I pulled the radio, disconnected the ground, and ran a new ground to the chassis. But it still turned on and off when I hit the brights. As the radio only has a power wire, ground wire, and remote wire for the antenna, I can't imagine why using the brights would do this. So any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. |

Problem is fixed
![]() As the wiring diagram shows, the power to the radio, cluster, and turn-signal stalk are related http://www.benzworld.org/forums/attachments/r-c107-sl-slc-class/329133d1283649174-help-original-radio-wiring-81-380sl-new-bitmap-image.jpg. So when I reinstalled the seat belt bulb and holder, the problem was solved. |
