Unhappy W201 2.3-16 engine rebuild advise

Hi there, lam doing a rebuild on my 190e 16v engine. I am not an expert and i am on learning stage as well. The pan was to do a dyi timing chain ang head gasket that went in to oen up cans of worms. I can do mechanical and electrical stuff and not affraid to work onthings.

I checked my compression. 1 to 4 , 130 -150-150-150 dry. 130-150-180-180 wet. When i pull out the head found that mycylinder are scratch can feel with finger nails. 2 of my guide rails are seating on the oil pan shattered.

I decided to pull out everything hoping i can hone the scratches out as first try before spending lot of money on new pistons ad etc.

I been looking around cannot figure out and appologize if it is a dumb question.
1. The cylinder bore is stamped 0 std 95.5 mm and piston s 95.44mm
2. The current cylinder after my honing and got rid of most the scratch is at 95.57mm
3. If i go to 95.6 after honing to get rid of the scratch does this means i am out of spec and need to do a first repair bore at 96.00mm
4. How do i know its tie to bore?

Thanks in advance i am hoping there are soebody here to help.

Elie

its an 86 I'm shopping around for piston just in case its time to bore.. Benz pistons are like 250 each and JE pistons are like 800 dollar range but there's one I found which is Federal Mogul Nural pistons which is 65 a piece for repair 1. Do you think it will work or I rather spend the money for JE pistons. No plan for high performance just a regular driver restore. Not even a daily driver. Maybe drive this like 2000 miles a year.

I cannot seem to find the spec on the shop manual. But maybe Its just a big knowledge base.
