Staggered 18x9 and 18x8 AMG on E430W4???

I am currently running a set of 18x8 AMG Aero II Monoblocks 235/40ZR18 on my 2000 E430 4Matic. Can I increase my rear wheel size to a 18x9 Rim running 265/35ZR18? Will this setup affect my differentials, ESP? This is offered on the 2002 E430W4. I can't believe anything has changed from '00-'02.
