2000 C230 Driver Side Visor
Hello,
Driver side visor in my C230 works fine but it does not extend along the shaft out like the visor did on my 1988 190e. With my C230, when I put the visor against the drivers side window, it does not block out the sun adequatly and I have to drive and shield the sun from my eyes myself. Are these visors made to extend out or do they make a replacment visor that does? Thank You

You could always make up a sleeve that is sewn like a pouch that slides over the sunvisor. You can store it on the visor and when you flip the visor to the driver's side window you can pull the sleeve out along the visor to block the sun. I did this on my 85 300D and it works great! Of course I got matching color vinyl and my upholstery buddy did it on his industrial sewing machine. The material has to be stiff enough to not be floppy.

Thanks for the idea. I might do something like that. I want to see if I can find a part so that the car still looks stock. I am suprised that they didnt offer that visor to begin with. Perhaps a more expensive model Mercedes with the same chasis has it and it will fit my model? I will see if I can find something.
