Power Steering Pump Differences?

I'd like to pick up a used power steering pump for a 81 380sl on Ebay, and change the seals if need be. But Ebay's fit chart sometimes says a pump will only fit an 84 or 85 380sl, but not an 81-83. OTOH, the ad will often say a pump fits any 107, as well as many other models.

As I'm not really sure what, if any differences, there are between the pumps in various year 107's and/or other models, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also, if anyone knows where I can buy a pulley for one of these pumps, that would also be helpful, because I can get a used or rebuilt pump without a pulley, and I understand that taking the pulley off the existing pump without damaging it requires a special puller. However, the OE pulley is over $300, if you can believe that. So I'd like to find an aftermarket pulley instead.

Thanks very much in advance.

Thanks in advance.

DD
