Hesitation-low on power

88 300TE

I was driving along heading for a gas station when I pushed the throttle down and sensed no acceleration. Assuming I was really low on gas I shrugged it off. Even after filling the tank, it felt better initially. Little later, I pushed the pedal down and the engine felt like it was bogging down. As though the throttle was not opening or more fuel being pumped. Am I experiencing some form of pump issue or some throttle not opening? This was intermittent.

I did notice the power of the car was down a few weeks ago along with a lower idle. Plugs-cap-rotor were changed to little improvement.

Anyone experience this? Where should I start to look?

Thanks.

I'd check gas pedal travel, and linkages first. If that don't work check fuel filters, you have one in tank,Do you have enemies?water in fuel or worse sugar in tank check gas cap for sugar crystals. If its sugar, remove fuel tank, flush your gas lines.
Then two it could be your fuel pump relay,or pump itself. Our old cars don't like to run on E,lots of years trash
