124 300D - Getting Pushed around by the wind a bit

Hey all,

Well Its been windy these past few days and I think its giving ol 300D the push around.

I was thinking its about time to consider rebuilding the rear end suspension. The front was done about 10-20k ago back in early 2010. The previous owner put all new rubber, ball joints and shocks (KYB). I think the shock mounts as well although one might look a bit older than the other so don't quote me on that.

The rear appears all original and with nearly 250k on the clock. It might be time. What do you guys think? Is that the average lifespan of the multi-link and shocks?

I'd like to move to Bilstein shocks on the rear but I would like to match the front end. Comforts? HD? I've used HD on everything else so far....

Thanksss!

-Kris
