2008 E320 Bluetec / Basic Newbie Questions?

  1. Did 2008 E320 Bluetec sedans customarily come equipped from Mercedes-Benz with a mounted, full-sized spare and wheel?
  2. Does a "glow-plug" indicator light illuminate in the starting process?
  3. Is there an accessory block heater available for the 2008 Bluetec from Mercedes-Benz?
  4. Where is the battery for this car, in the trunk, or under the right-rear cabin seating cushion?
  5. Is the rear window deck power-operated sun shade an option, or part of an option 'package' when the vehicle was ordered?
  6. The 2008 Bluetec I'm considering has a red colored, Mercedes-Benz logo, 110AC plug-in meter of sorts, with alligator clips for the car's battery. Without further inspection of this apparatus, was this a unit provided by MB factory/dealer (as included) when the car was bought new? Is it a 'quick charger' or is it a 'trickle charger' would you surmise?
  7. I am obviously just shopping this 2008 Bluetec sedan car at the time of this thread's creation. The absence of a spare - any spare threw me for a loop over the weekend while viewing the car, so I had these other Qs too.

Yes. It's not a matching tire on a matching alloy wheel, but it is a ready to use spare rather than one of those compact things that needs to be inflated. I think you need to go down two layers to find it, the space beneath the trunk mat is just a cubbyhole. I'll go look in the back of my 2008 to see what's there...

Edit: Yeah, that's the ticket. Pull up the trunk mat and you should have the jack & tool roll on the left and a storage area in the middle. The spare is underneath, you have to grab the lining and pull it out - there's no obvious handle or place to start.
