Serpentine belt
I have a 1991 300SE, The Air pump bearings have failed for the last time, I recall there is a serpentine belt that fits the engine with the pump removed. If anyone has an idea what size it is I could use the information.
Thanks in advance; Mike |

Mike, I think Hitman runs that setup; might drop him a private msg if he doesn't see this post. I keep the air pump unplugged on mine, so only the idler bearing is turning. That bearing is pretty cheap and relatively easy to replace - though it does seem to go away every 7 years or so. I've replaced it a couple of times and it's beginning to make a little noise again. but if you want to try that route, you can do a search herein for the bearing number and source.
