Heater Core Removal C230 Help??

I have had a repair shop have my C230 for while since last year (2012) it has been there since...

He was going to install all the parts..

1. Universal Air Conditioner CO105111C A/C Compressor.
2. A/C RECEIVER DRIER BEHR HELLA - 2028300283
3. Starter *NEW* - Brand: Bosch - Part #: SR0456X
4. Fuel Pressure Regulator - Brand: Bosch - Part #: 0280160587
5. Crankshaft Position Sensor - Brand:Meyle - Part #:0148990042
6. Heater Core

He finished everything but the last one is what is taking so long, the heater core..

After seeing the over and over after days passing its really starting to bug me with this mechanic..

Hopefully you guys could let me know what to do he has the car apart and I do not want him to do anything funny if I say never mind.

The link is pictures of the car that is currently sitting at the repair shop.

He tells me that he does not know how to remove the heater core...

(P.S I was sent to this website from another Benz website.

Thank You For Any Help)

More data needed

In this case, the year and VIN# would help locating the correct service information.

Sorry about that, I was in a rush for work when posting.. But the car is a "1997 Mercedes Benz C230". (Since I do not have the car in my hands at this time I cant provide the VIN yet.)

The mechanic at the shop has told me the car is ready, the cost of his work is $400. (I will be going to check the car out etc...)

The other work was around $230.

1. Universal Air Conditioner CO105111C A/C Compressor.
2. A/C RECEIVER DRIER BEHR HELLA - 2028300283
3. Starter *NEW* - Brand: Bosch - Part #: SR0456X
4. Fuel Pressure Regulator - Brand: Bosch - Part #: 0280160587
5. Crankshaft Position Sensor - Brand:Meyle - Part #:0148990042
Total - $230 or so.

6. Heater Core Replace - $400

Thank You For Any Help.

OK, so is he gonna' try to figure it out, or just let your car sit there??? I think he should buy a subscription to MBUSA's Startekinfo site (it's like twenty bucks a day) so he can work from the factory instructions.

If the job is done, the cost is not bad..

Ahhhh......errrrrr......gulp!!! I guess I was speed-reading, sorry.

$400 is a great price for replacing the heater core on a 202, but the fact that the job stalled because the tech was lost bothers me. That's where I was goin'.

My C230 Return

After this shop completly messed up the car, I have simply got my car back without paying the $400 altho he did install the heater core, the car still does not create heat altho it does blow air (guessing by a fan.)

I have bought the car home and let my dad start on the body work since I'm tired of mechanical work at the time.

http://myc230benz.shutterfly.com/pictures/60

This is pictures of the body parts added to the car, as I will be getting the car painted soon, (Thinking of a "Candy Apple Black", but I'm not sure..)

Anyway I do not know what to do about the heat/ac issue as of yet.

But anyway he broke my cruise control switch, it used to work now it does not. The cig lighter didn't work but my dad found that the fuse was blown.

Anyway thank you for any help or info.
