Question Suzuki Forenza Ignition Key

Today my 2005 Suzuki Forenza gave me a crazy problem.
After parking it on my garage, the ignition key won't come out of the ignition at the steering column. I tried many times carefully to don't get it broken inside the steering column. It only came out when I started moving sideways the transmission lever. I then insert it back and tried to remove it again and I had the same problem. I then removed the key doing isle I did the first time.
When moving the transmission lever sideways I can hear a noise in the steering column like a relay clicking and after couple those clicks the key came out.
Now I din't know if the problem is electrical or mechanical and ether how to get it solved. This key has a chip in it.
I left my car in the garage and I will be more than happy to hear about how to solve this problem.
Thanks everyone.
