Help with Replacing Fuel Hoses

Hello,

I want to replace two fuel hoses on my 1990 300se. I have removed the fuel pump/filter/regulator as a unit. The hose from the fuel filter to the fuel supply line has a leak and I must replace it. I also bought the hose that goes from the tank into the fuel pump since I was going to have it all apart anyway.

My problem is there is very limited room between the fittings and the axle to get a wrench in there. In addition, there is a return line that loops around in the same area that I do not want to disconnect unless I have to. Does anyone have experience replacing these hoses? Any help with how is to best do it and if any special tools are required would be helpful. Thanks.

Lloyd
