Need MB Doc
what does the AC Fan resistors do? I want to know if I can change values so fans will com on at 92c. Tried to put photo of it up.Attached Images

On the 1999 S320? Fan control is by fan control unit & is variable.

Thanks MB,any thing I can do to avoid a headgasket I wil try to keep the M104 cooler.
I no they leak oil not compression but perhaps cooler oil will help.

Heat isn't the problem, the length of the engine is.
99.9% of M104 headgasket issues are oil leaks after 1993. Movement of the aluminum head on the cast iron block & high oil pressure causes those leaks.
