2002 ML320 Fuel Tank Removal

I need to replace the fuel tank on my 2002 ML320, and I was wondering if I could get some advice. I printed off instructions from Autozone, and it mentions lowering the rear axle. I have some experience maintaining my vehicles, do very well with mechanical things, and will be having my father and grandfather assist me, they have more experience in this field than I do.

I just want to make sure that I am not biting off more than I can chew, and that I don't brake anything while I am taking it apart.

Thank you in advance for the assistance.
