				Questionable quality

Check out the article at http://www.thecarconnection.com/index.asp?article=4732 I guess that's what we get with the addition of Chrysler. Am I the only one that has thought Chryslers build quality has been poor for many years. I'll keep rolling my older MB's and leave the DC models for the image seekers.

Well I agree. If you just sit in a W220 and play with the switches and movable parts, they are noticibly cheaper feeling...more tinny and flimsier. I guess one could even blame the jap cars for the decreased quality. They come out with a Camry with more leather and sound deadening material and consumers unfortunately think it is a Benz competitor. So to compete, Benz had to do something to lower prices. So although this is not an excuse, I think this has something to do with it. But yeah...I'll just keep driving my W126 until the floorboard drops out from underneath it...which I don't see happening anytime soon
