W124 electrical question.
Hey guys, i'm currently in my passenger footwell reworking my aftermarket alarm system and window control module, but i have a quick question. There are two modules on the metal plate that are about 1" x 1.5", one is red and the other is black. I'm curious as to what these do/are for? The embedded image isn't mine, but shows the two connectors/modules in question. Thanks a ton guys!

Those look like electrical connectors to me. A male plug - plugging into a female plug. And multiple pins maybe 8 or 10.

The red one is for the SRS (airbag) system, black one is for rear systems, central locking and fuel pump for example.
