D+ wire, where does it go to
I changed the alternator on my sister's 95 E320 and after installing the new one noticed the green wire conected to D+ on the alternator is dry and live, probably what damaged the old alternator.
I followed the wire and it goes into a metal tube above the tranny, in it go that wire, one from a sensor that is conected in the oil pan and a few more. All the thin wires are dry and peeled, so trying to replace from there is a risk. Does anyone know where they go to? how hard is it to change em? any ideas please? |

There is a link that shows the wiring in the thread somewhere.....if all else fails, Google is your next best source.

D+ goes to the charging indicator light in the instrument cluster.
