Axle run-out help on w210 / E430 4MATIC

I noticed a pulsing after braking and measured almost .010" of run-out when measured at the outside edge of the rotor.

I cleaned off all the rust and high spots on the hub itself and the rotors are brand new.

I did replaced this axle last year (and have probably had the problem ever since...hard to say exactly when it started, it was awhile ago, including on the last set of rotors...I had just figured it was time for new ones at 100k).

Is it possible that to adjust the run-out on the 4matic hub with the axle bolt? Did I over/under tighten it?

On the 4matic axle, it has a bolt that threads into the hub (a 27mm big guy) a little different than I'm used to on a mercedes axle.

I saw in doing a little research that some folks make a run-out correction plate is that really what I need?

Well - I just measured the run-out on the hub itself after removing the caliper and rotor. On the hub, the run-out variance is less than 0.003". That seems within reason given the surface of the hub has some rust showing. I did clean it with a wire brush and gently file down any obvious protrusions before installing the rotor.

I put it all back together so I can drive it tomorrow...
