Help with Service Indicator and Banjo Bolt

Hello,

I need assistance on two different cars. First, I have a 2008 E350 that shows an F Service past due 1150 days (and counting) indication every time I start the car. I have tried every clearing procedure I can find and in every instance the result is “service not confirmed” and the warning remains. I bought the car used and when the B Service came on I cleared that without a hitch. But now this past due F appeared and will not go away. What do I have to do that I have not already done by following every instruction that I can find?

Second, I have a 1990 300se with a 722.3 transmission and I want to install a new modulator. Searches reveal any number of rigs to check to pressure. I have plenty of pressure gauges and all I need is a fitting. I would like to order a banjo fitting but I do not know what size is required (M8x1, M10x1, etc.). Does anyone know?

Thank you for any and all help.

Lloyd

This page should help. I do know that you can't be too slow in doing each step. You have to practice over and over until you can do it with no pauses.

Make sure you do everything. For instance, you have to be in the drivers seat with all the doors closed.

Good luck.
