Reminded of tranny problem...
Talking about my Dad's 190E 2.6 on another thread reminded me to do a search for "slow reverse engagement."
I found some inconsistent information regarding causes. Dad's 190E is a little sluggish engaging reverse, and I slid under it to have a look. No leaks. Fluid looks good. Any thoughts? Reverse clutch pack? Possible valve body problem? Car has 300K on 'er now, maybe she's just getting a little long in the tooth...
