Best Place to Find Used 94-95 E320 Wiring Harness...Anyone Have One?
I had just checked out at a local pick-n-pull when a gentleman asked about the scrap value of his 1995 E320
![]() I went over and saw the car myself, and it was a beautiful brilliant silver over black car. One owner over the last 10 years. Previously starmarked...no wrecks. Not even a crack in the leather but the wiring harness was the last straw. Fortunately, he rejected the $300 offer by the junkyard and offered me the car for $1000. I honestly don't have enough room for it but it really seemed worth saving. Not sure if I wanted to sink $800-$900 in it for a new OEM harness so a used updated (circa 2002 and up) harness seemed like the best idea. Anyone have a good one or know where to find one. Also would anyone really want the car in case I pass it up...I will gladly pass along this guy's phone number.

They do show up in junk yards occasionally. The issue to keep in mind is that there are different harnesses for 94-95 and even two in 95. for 1000$ if the evap and the tranny have been replaced/rebuilt, buy it. then you have a 3500$ car for 2000$.

It's not all that difficult to splice in new wires. It just takes lots of time and patience. Get heat resistant or silicone insulated wire and buy lots of shrink tubing.

Thanks for the good advice...the current harness is all hacked up by the current owner with a quick solder job...probably best to start over...might try to have a better look though.
Not sure if this will be a money pit because "the suspension has a few creaks and it needs a can of freon every couple summers" per the owner. Definitely not a W124 enthusiast but took great care of the interior and exterior. We'll see!
