My w124 MAF gave up the ghost in the 130k range, IIRC. I can't say if the symptoms were just like that, but it would get stumbly and threaten to die. I got several different codes from the homemade code reader. If it were me, I would probably start with MAF at that mileage.

hey Mava new regulator. Now I'm thinking water in fuel.Or fuel pump is weak.I have good power,as long as I don't floor it.I need to fix this before drag racing again in Spring.Thinking of ordering a better pump anyways.Pump has 185,000 miles.
Oh yeah its awful when cold, once it warms I can give more pedal

I'm getting a computer tonight to check fuel pressure as I put a load on the engine. Its either that or I've gotten water in my tank.I will drain fuel one day this week if I have too.

Yea, I drained the fuel of my S320 which was sitting in the tank for three years after I rebuilt my transmission. i made more of a mess... Ultimately I mixed the fuel with newer fuel, and used it in all the other cars, and lawn mowers...
