sunroof emergency
My sunroof on the '86 560SEC is stuck open with rain in our forecast for the next week. I tried to turn the red plastic nut on the sunroof motor, but it seems to be slipping. How can I get the sunroof shut immediately?

You may have to grab the top and bottom and pull on it while working the motor.

Also, did you check the fuse for the motor?

thanks guys.
The motor works. I think the cable is all tangled up because regardless of which way you turn the motor, the sunroof wants to open. But we got the sunroof closed finally by pulling on it (thanks benzmac)...I just won't open it again until I learn how to fix the problem.
