560sec door and window problems

I acquired an '89 560sec on a whim for a decent price this summer and am finally getting around to messing with it. The windows didn't work except the driver window. The rears were up and the passenger was down. I removed the door panel and found that some small bolts had come loose and allowed the regulator to move around. This in turn has led to the regulator doing some damage to the door sheet metal wherever it is bolted to it. Now I made my own little washers to try and tighten things up but my problem is that when the window is just about to be fully up it the glass cocks inward and and over not allowing it to rest in the correct position. I can get it almost closed but not perfect. Ive played with it so much I don't know what else to do. I am starting to think the door could be the problem. Not sure if anyone has had this issue but maybe there is some trick to lining up the glass I don't know about. Any insights would help. Thanks
