how often should a power door lock pump activate ?

in a 96 w210 how often should the power door lock pump activate when you are not actively lock and unlock the door. I'm asking because I'm driving with the rear seat off and I hear it kicking on every 30 seconds or so for about 10 seconds.

only when the locks are actuated. if it's doing it driving down the road, you have a leak.

Does your car have orthopedic seats? Those are run from the central locking pump.

The pump not only serves the door locks, it supports the trunk lock, gas door flap, provides for the seat bladders, and vaccum for the climate control when the engine does not.

It seems to go more when its cold. So it will draw from battery if there. Is a leak.
