1993 300ce cab (harness inquiry)

I was told there are two wiring harnesses in these cars. One in the engine bay along side the spark plugs and another in the battery compartment.
Is the one in the battery compartment prone to failure (brittle insulation )? And how much is it to replace it? Thx

1993 300CE should have the older style insulation on the wiring so no need to replace unless you're having problems.

The harnesses that are problematic are on the 1994 and 1995.
If you have the M104-24V with the KE-Jet you should be fine.
