clunking noise in rear 190 16v
I have a 190 2.3-16 and the rear for somereason is stiff and klunks over the smallest of bumps. Could it be the accumulator cells or what else could it be?
Thanks, gary manata from toronto canada |

If the car bounces over bumps and is stiff, like you say, it is most definitely the accumulator spheres. Not hard to replace.

Most cars with hydraulic leveling systems have these "spheres" or nitrogen accumulators. This is where the shock absorber dampening takes place. WHEN they go bad there isn't any dampening, ie; HARDTAIL !
