my car has the ambient light package, I have managed to even correct the non functioning little lamps in the door pulls - they were dangling behind the panel.

Its all nice to have but how should these work.

currently they work like this

the door pulls and floor ones illuminate very dim with the headlamps
the rear view mirror one illuminates with the ignition in ON

With car off n locked - if I unlock it only the interior roof lamps switch on. Should the floor ones also switch on at full brightness in that situation or is this normal?
