Bike Rack

Does anyone out there know of a good bike rack for a 2004 320CLK Cabriolet?
I heard a trunk mounted one is not good?

Thanks

I used Yakima for years without a problem. Go to their site and see what they show for your model. Or just ride to the bike path from home.

Went to their site and they do not have a rack to fit this model.

I can't help with specific brands in your neck of the woods but I can say that a lot of people here in Holland fit tow bars (often removable ones) and then get the expensive bike racks that fit onto the towing ball. It all looks very scary - just a clamp onto the towing ball - but the neighbour over the road has one and carries three bicycles on it.

You may need a hitch mounted one for that car which would also require a hitch. Not sure if thats the route you want to take or not.

I went to the Yakima website and put in your vehicle info and they say none of their trunk mounted carriers would work (??). Drop by one of your local bike shops. Try to pick one of the more upscale/high end shops. Those guys will have the "latest and greatest".

I have used a "bones" carrier on a W210.

Get a folding bike, throw it in the trunk. So much less hassle especially on longer trips. I can fit 2 easily in the back of the 124 as well as some luggage.
